Mozambique is located in the southeast of African continent; it is washed by Mozambique Channel of the Indian Ocean from the east and southeast.

The head of the state is the president. Legislature is one-chamber Assembly of the Republic.

Climate of the north of country is close to equatorial: temperatures are high (25-28? C) all the year round, deposits drops out 1300-1500 mm per one year. Climate changes to tropical trade wind in the south: mid-annual temperatures are reduced till 20-22? C; deposits are less than 500-1000 mm per one year. Damp season proceeds since November till April - May.
