NASA will study Mars in glasses Microsoft
|
 American space office, NASA wants to use the device, created by Microsoft with the goal of Mars exploration. Using augmented reality glasses HoloLens scientists hope to visit the red planet, without leaving their own laboratories.
It tells Mashable, researchers from the laboratory NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory has combined efforts with Microsoft for being programs OnSight, which will work with augmented reality glasses HoloLens. Using this instrument scientists will be able to explore the recreated on the basis of previously acquired by the Mars Curiosity Rover data surface of Mars without leaving their own offices.
In addition, the software OnSight will allow you to control the tools of the Rover with the help of gestures. Laboratory U.S. space Bureau plans to start testing OnSight summer. The creators of the Agency are going to conclude with Microsoft cooperation agreement.
